This page explains what personal information Roughneck Cable collects through this site, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

• When you order, we keep your name, email address, phone number, delivery and billing address, company and order reference if you give them, delivery instructions, and the reels you buy.
• If you ask for a quote or send a message, we keep what you enter in the form.
• When you pay by card, Stripe tells us whether the payment went through. Your card details go to Stripe and we never see them.
• Our servers keep standard request logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site secure and to limit abuse of the forms.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, which keeps your cart and checkout together as you move between pages. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. When you pay by card, Stripe’s payment form sets its own cookies to help prevent fraud.

How we use it

To process, deliver and invoice your order, send you emails about it, reply to your enquiries, keep the business and tax records the law requires, and prevent fraud and misuse. We do not sell personal information, and we do not send you marketing unless you ask for it.

Who we share it with

• The carrier delivering your order, which needs your name, address and phone number.
• Stripe, for card payments.
• The companies that send our email and run our accounting system.
• Professional advisers, and authorities where the law requires it.

Where it is stored

This site and our order system run on servers in Finland. Stripe and our other service providers may process information in other countries, including the United States. We use providers that are required to protect it.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Enquiries are kept while they are useful for dealing with you, and deleted if you ask.

Your choices

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Use the contact form, and we will reply by email.

Depending on the state you live in, you may have further rights over your information. Contact us to use them.

Changes

When our practices change, we update this page and the date at the top.
