This is 1/4" galvanized aircraft cable in 7×19 construction, supplied as a full 3,281 ft reel. Seven strands of nineteen fine wires make 7×19 flexible enough to run around pulleys, winch drums and tight corners without kinking.

About this cable
The steel is zinc coated to protect it outdoors, and the cable is made to ASTM A1023 with a tensile grade of 2,070 N/mm².
Its minimum breaking load is 7,000 lb (31.1 kN). For a working load, divide that by a design factor suited to the job, commonly 5, and allow for fittings, bends and wear. It is not for aircraft control systems.
